Welcome! Cultural Arts Connection's goal is to create a cultural synergy that positively affects the social, educational, economic, and cultural health of communities. Cultural Arts Connection advocates and promotes the arts through the variety of programs found here in this website and briefly described below.
CAC Programs and Services
Arts in Action Gallery Located at 10 W. Main St in Lake
Zurich, the Arts in Action Gallery is the place to see arts in action. Open
for community members to visit, watch demonstrations, attend performances, and
support local artists by purchasing their work, the Gallery is operated by volunteer
artists and arts advocates year-round on Fridays and Saturdays 11-5 and Sundays

Arts Gallery An on-line gallery of artists available for
viewing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a great place to visit when you
are looking for a visual or performing artist to hire for commissioned work,
or to perform at an event. The
Arts Gallery showcases and creates a convenient directory of artists for
you to explore and enjoy.
Cultural Calendar: Aspiring to be the most comprehensive Arts and
Culture Database of "Things to Do" in Lake County! Pass the word - this is where
to list your events and the place to go when you are looking for something to

Call for Visual and Performing Artist: Cultural Arts Connection
is always looking for visual and performing artists for various events throughout
the year. Visual and performing artists are needed throughout the year for the
Arts in Action Gallery, Ela Fine Arts Show and Lake Zurich Promenade Summer
Entertainment Series presented and organized by Cultural Arts Connection. Cultural
Arts Connection also receives requests for artist referrals for community events
throughout the year. Membership is required for participation in the Arts in
Action Gallery, to receive referrals, and to assure proper notification of upcoming
calls for artists. Join

Ela Fine Arts Show: The Ela Fine Arts Show is a juried exhibition
and sale of fine arts and fine crafts usually held the second weekend of June
at Deer Park Town Center, a beautiful upscale shopping center in Deer Park,
Illinois. Cultural Arts Connection has been hosting art shows since 1996 –
with our first show as part of the Ela Festival of Arts in Paulas Park. Please note the Ela Fine Art Show for June 2008 has been cancelled due to a lack of a location.
Student Art Exhibit & Sale: Held are part of the Ela Fine
Arts Show, the goal of the exhibit is to provide student encouragement to develop
their craft and gain valuable hands-on experience in the arts. Student
Art Exhibit & Sale
Grants & Loans: The Grant and Loan program is currently under
development. See Grant and Loan programs.
Rental/Leasing/Loan Program: Cultural Arts Connection owns
sound equipment, a music library, display boards, and other items that are available
for members to rent on a short or long-term basis. See Rental/Leasing
Program.
Seminar Program: Cultural Arts Connection has sponsored various
public forums and seminars. The council is interested in providing technical
assistance to non-profit organizations in the form of seminars.
Public Art: An informational guide on public art projects
and how CAC supports such projects. Call CAC to discuss funding opportunities,
selection practices, model projects, and legal issues surrounding public art

Join CAC: There are many ways to join CAC in supporting and developing
